The product arrived but no video went up — what now?

PLAYLAB LAB · Last updated: 2026-09-17

Do not file it under "failed recovery" yet. Three different things hide behind a missing video: the parcel may not have arrived, the collaboration may never have committed to a date, or the post may exist and simply not be verified. We never report shipments and live contents as the same number, and separating them is what makes the next message — and the next campaign — sensible.

A tracking number is not proof of receipt

Start by filtering the shipment list down to creators with no published content, then read each one with its delivery address, tracking number and delivery status side by side.

A parcel that shipped but has not arrived is a logistics question, not a content question. Chasing a creator for a video they have not received costs you the relationship. Only the confirmed-delivered rows move to the next step.

We re-verify the delivery address for every campaign instead of reusing one on file, and record tracking numbers per creator and per campaign. Without that record you cannot answer "we shipped it, why is nothing up?" — delivery failure and publishing failure look identical from the outside. How we handle addresses and tracking numbers is published on our about page.

If it arrived, re-read what was actually agreed

In gifted seeding, sending a product is not a promise to post on a given date. What you should say next depends on how the creator entered the campaign and whether a posting window or format was agreed separately. A date nobody agreed to cannot be presented later as a deadline.

"When are you posting?" is the weakest message you can send here. Ask three things instead: did the product arrive, are they still interested, and where is the content. Only after an answer can you decide whether this is a wait, a conversation, or a gap you need to re-run volume against.

"Published" means a video link

A creator saying they posted is not a count. Verify the video link and the upload timestamp before it enters the total. Never add outreach results or shipment counts to live content counts.

When a video is confirmed, connect the creator profile, the post link, the upload timestamp and the engagement numbers in the same record — otherwise it is unusable next campaign. Our dashboard holds exactly those fields per creator and exports to CSV; what records you should keep after a seeding campaign covers what to preserve. The point is not that you contacted someone. It is that a specific shipment can be traced to a specific published post.

Price the gap against the billing unit, separately

Our published gifted seeding terms are KRW 60,000 per live piece of content actually published, minimum 100 posts, starting at KRW 6,000,000. [1] Shipments are not the billable unit. A product that shipped and never got published is not charged, and we do not bill a management fee for unrecovered units either.

When you compare that against a per-shipment or per-creator quote, convert first: unit price ÷ recovery rate. A quote of KRW 30,000 per shipment at a 50% recovery rate is KRW 60,000 per actual content. Note that product cost, international shipping, customs and duties are the brand's regardless — the logistics cost on an unpublished unit has already been spent. Market, product and extra requirements are quoted separately.

Your follow-up plan needs two numbers, not one: confirmed live contents and shipments with no verified post. If you are short of target, redesign the remaining volume, the schedule and the follow-up outreach — and do not convert either number into a promise of additional uploads by a given date. The items worth fixing in the contract are listed in how to choose a seeding agency.
