Seeding guide

Which brands has PLAYLAB run TikTok seeding for?

PLAYLAB LAB · Last updated: 2026-09-17

We have run TikTok seeding campaigns across beauty, health supplements and food. The brands we can name publicly include beplain, Refilled, Dr.Different, EPAIS, VARUZA, Esther Formula, Laka, Foodology, SKIN1004 and Dongwon, alongside campaigns with brands we do not disclose. [1]

In beauty, from skincare through colour and hair

beplain, Dr.Different, VARUZA and SKIN1004 are skincare; Laka is colour cosmetics; Refilled is hair. EPAIS ran with us on beauty as well.

Inside one category the selection criteria still change. For colour cosmetics, what matters is whether swatches and application read clearly on camera. For skincare and hair, how the creator explains usage and product claims matters as much as the visuals. So we do not propose the same pool again because the category matches. We confirm the product, the target markets and the on-screen scenes you want first, then narrow candidates — the attributes we read are listed in what data-driven creator matching really means.

If you want to keep the selection decision yourself and hand over only the operation, who picks the creators in a seeding campaign sets out how that splits.

Health supplements and food brands too

Esther Formula and Foodology are health supplement brands; Dongwon is food. TikTok seeding is not limited to cosmetics. If the product can be shown being eaten, cooked with or used naturally on camera, it can carry creator content.

We do not carry beauty criteria straight across, though. The information that must be disclosed, the scenes that show the product, and the shipping conditions are all different. Before starting we confirm the product category, which countries it can ship to, and what we can and cannot ask a creator to say.

Do not infer results from a brand name

Publishing these names does not mean any of these brands saw a particular sales lift, and it is not a claim about any individual campaign's performance. We do not publish budget, shipped volume, upload count or revenue at brand level. Cumulative totals and the average recovery rate are published on our about page. What worked for one brand is not a guarantee for another.

What we can tell you is the range of brands we have worked with and the operation we own: creator sourcing, outreach, shipping operation, upload tracking and performance reporting as one flow. [2]

If you want to know whether we have run something like yours

A familiar name in your category is not a reason to choose an agency by itself. When you talk to us, tell us the product category, the target markets, the number of uploads you want and the volume you can ship. We will separate what we can find under those conditions from what we can operate.

If you are sizing something like 1,000 placements a month, align the units first — collaborations, shipments and actual uploads are three different counts. The questions worth asking are in how to choose an agency for 1,000+ seeding placements a month.
